Protecting your personal information is a core value of Team Support Services, LLC, dba Abraxas, PO Box 1898, Portage, MI 49081-1898, USA (“Abraxas”, the “Company” or “we”, “us”, “our”). Please note that Abraxas is located outside of the European Union, in the United States, and thus in addition to the General Data Protection Regulation (whenever applicable), US law may apply to certain aspects of having your data collected and processed.

At Abraxas we take your privacy seriously and understand your concerns regarding the right to control your personal information submitted through the Abraxas website. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) will explain what type of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website URL(s) at www.abraxasworldwide.com (“Website”), our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, disclosing that information, how users can access information that they submit through the website, and whom information may be shared with. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect on our Websites, web pages, interactive features, applications and blogs, relating to services we offer, and their respective contents, whether accessed via computer, mobile device or other technology (collectively, the “Sites”).

The type of information we collect

Information You Provide To Us

Based on the consent granted (provided that no other circumstance when processing Personal Informational without consent legally applies), we collect information that you have provided to contact you or to identify you personally, such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, phone number or any other information that identifies you (“Personal Information”). We also collect aggregate information (such as how users access the Website). As is true with most websites, we gather web server log file information automatically such as your browser type, IP address, referring/exit page, and operating system.

If you choose to use the Contact Us function on the Website, you will be asked for general information regarding you and/or your company. Abraxas will use this information to better understand who you are and to identify the best person to contact you from within Abraxas. Abraxas may also collect more detailed information, including Personal Information, if you choose to use the comment section within the Contact Us function.

Provided that you grant consent, you may also submit your resume via HR@abraxasworldwide.com. This information will be reviewed by our Human Resource department staff for recruitment purposes only. If positions are not available at the time of submission, Abraxas will store your resume for at least one year so that we may review it for future opportunities. Your Personal Information gathered for the purpose of recruitment will not be shared or transferred to any other third party.

Abraxas will never knowingly collect information from children. For consent to be valid, it must be granted by an individual of 16-years old or older. By consenting to this policy, you declare you are 16 years or older. If, despite the language of the consent, it is found that information is collected from a child below the age of 16, that user would be notified that his or her Personal Information cannot be accepted, and that Personal Information would be removed from our records immediately.

How we may use the information that is collected

Abraxas may share Personal Information with its affiliates (who are also entities located within the United States) and thus Personal Information will be accessed and processed by Abraxas and its affiliates from the territory of the United States.

Abraxas and its affiliates will only process Personal Information that you have provided to contact you in response to your request and which was collected through the Website. Abraxas and its affiliates will not rent or sell any Personal Information provided through the Website to any third party.

We may also process Personal Information if (a) it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract; (b) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which Abraxas is subject; (c) processing is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the subject of Personal Information or of another individual; (d) processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in Abraxas; (e) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Abraxas or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the subject of Personal Information, which require protection of his or her Personal Information, in particular where subject of Personal Information is a child.

How to request access, update, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of Personal Information

Abraxas will take commercially reasonable efforts to provide you with an accounting of the Personal Information we may have within a reasonable period of time. If we are unable to process your request, you will be provided with an explanation.

How your information may be shared

We may provide your information to companies that provide services to us in order to perform your request along with our daily business activities such as web site analytics, customer service, and data hosting. These third parties are authorized to use your Personal Information only to provide the services that Abraxas has contracted them to perform.

In the following instances, we may also disclose your information:

  • As required by law to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, to the extent which is legally permitted. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of information that is transferred to third parties required by such an event, and
  • In order to respond to a written government request.

Tracking technologies

Cookies are a piece of information that is shared between cooperating pieces of software, these are normally small text files stored on your computer when you visit the websites. Abraxas uses cookies on its Website in order to:

  • Authenticate Website visitors,
  • Deliver targeted media such as videos
  • Measure advertising and promotional effectiveness

Transparent PNG files, or pixels, are clear graphic images which enable certain functions within our website. These gather the same types of information that cookies do. They are used as part of third party tracking service which provides anonymous information regarding site usage.

Web logs are also used to recognize returning users to enhance the web site content. These logs are used to track the number of times the page is visited by the same user.

Abraxas uses remarketing to provide targeted ad messages to people who have visited our Website. We do not re-use or re-sell the Personal Information collected through cookies to anyone. Google and other third-party advertising vendors utilize a technology called a cookie to serve up Abraxas ads on other sites you visit after visiting the Website.

You may also request to have your Personal Information provided to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as to have it transmitted to another entity at your request.

We reserve the right to change this notice at any time. We will post a notice of the effective date of changes to the Policy on our website.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you feel that Abraxas does not comply with this Policy or violates the law, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the Country/EU Member State where you reside.
